What they’re saying about
our Rescue & Care Kits

Our Wildlife Rescue & Care Units are making a difference every day

Here’s what some of our wildlife rescuers and carers have to say.

Making a real impact

Emu Chicks

Hey Bianca!

Just thought I’d send you a couple of photos and a great review from Steph who I got the other rescue kit for.

We got called about 3 emu chicks, one hatched and 2 ready to hatch when someone took off a nest (long frustrating story!).

She used the kit to transport the hour back to Broken Hill. They remained in it while they hatched last night and now it’s being used to keep them warm until she sets something else up.

She wanted me to pass on how incredible it has been to have, it was an absolute game changer for the travel back with them, especially for an out of ordinary rescue we weren’t fully prepared for. She had it all warm and ready to go once she arrived and they managed to hatch safely last night in care and stay perfectly warm!

It’s been an incredible addition for us in the Far West so far!

Joeys

We recently purchased a wild and kind wildlife rescue and care kit and have been trialling it with 2 of my most vulnerable joeys in my care.

We have been wildlife carers for 30 plus years and in that time have raised hundreds of joeys from furless stage to release back to the wild.

It has always been a struggle to maintain the constant temperatures needed to ensure these vulnerable joeys are kept at their optimal warmth.

This unit is perfect for the job, with temperature control and timer it doesn’t have the wild fluctuations that you get with hot water bottles and regular heat pads. So you are not always having to constantly check the temperature.

It is not only ideal for keeping in the car but also for day/night use- think of it as a portable humidicrib but much more cost and energy efficient.

A game changer not only for wildlife carers, vets, breeders but also for members of the public that care enough for our native wildlife to check for pouch young.

We have no hesitation in recommending this product to all.
